Assessment P1, P2, P3. plan

P1. Originate, develop and research an idea for a media product working within appropriate conventions and with some assistance.


P2. pitch a proposal for a media product with some appropriate use of subject terminology and with some assistance.


P3. manage a production process to create a media product working within appropriate conventions and with some assistance.


Things I must include


  • Come up with a story premise which could later be developed which is good but still affordable. (Include Storyboards)


  • Write a Proposal Letter, after looking at many templates of Proposal Letters I have decided that the best structure is if I follow these steps;
- Begin by stating your project's working title and basic
information.
- Explain why you want to make this film and why it could be
important and in their best interest to help.
- Explain how you plan to use humor, color, surrealism, pace, dialogue and music.
- List the equipment and permits you expect to need, as well as when, where and how long you plan to shoot, and how big a team you need.
- Tell your readers about the team you have assembled so far.
-Explain what sort of distribution you plan to find for your film when it is finished.
- Detail your funding strategy.
- Add a graph showing the budgeting.


  • Prepare a Script Treatment, from my own experience i have learnt a few good techniques for writing a Treatment, these include;
- Composing a chronological list of major events that occurs in your story
- Naming and giving descriptions to the main characters
- By expanding upon your outline by referencing additional scenes to keep focus on the story.
- Write a short version of the story that is polished and you are happy with

  • Write a Recce Checklist for the story.


  • Write a Risk Assessment for the story using possibly a fake location or a real life location with some pictures.


  • Include a Location Plan of the church that you plan on using with any possible picture you could add.


  • Show understandings of a Actors Contract.
